I’ve Been Diagnosed
Getting a diagnosis can feel like you finally have an answer.
Then comes the next question:
Now what?
A diagnosis gives what you’ve been experiencing a name. But it doesn’t automatically give you a roadmap for living with Sjogren’s disease.
You may still be wondering which symptoms are connected, what you should be tracking, which specialists may need to be involved, and what questions you should be asking.
You don’t have to figure everything out at once.
Start With Your Patterns
Sjogren’s disease can look very different from one person to another.
Start paying attention to your symptoms, when they happen, what seems to make them better or worse, and how they affect your everyday life.
The goal isn’t to diagnose yourself or determine what is causing every symptom.
It’s to understand your own experience well enough to have better conversations with your healthcare team.
You have a diagnosis. Now you need a way forward.
Jody’s Waiting Room
This is exactly why I created Jody’s Waiting Room.
It’s a private Sjogren’s navigation community built around one very simple question:
I have Sjogren’s. Now what?
Inside, you can explore symptoms, specialists, appointment preparation, tracking tools, research and education, practical resources, and conversations with other people navigating Sjogren’s disease.
You’ll also have access to the
Take Back What You Can Method,
designed to help you identify areas of daily life you may be able to influence while continuing to work with your healthcare team.
This isn’t about replacing your doctors or medical treatment. It’s about helping you become a more informed, prepared, and active participant in your own care.
Keep Learning
If you want to understand Sjogren’s one symptom at a time, Coffee with Jody is my newsletter where I take a deeper dive into one symptom and help you understand what may be worth discussing with your healthcare team.
You waited for answers.
You don’t have to spend the next chapter wondering what to do with them.
Keep Going
